A Dream

Spirit prompted me to go through and not to fear
and still does so as I sit here
writing about when two souls aligned
so perfectly matched and so divinely timed
as the sacred, pure waters rushed on by
from the cosmic white mountain
that stood by their side
cleansed and purified,
souls, hearts, bodies and minds sanctified
as the two lovers merge
as if responding to a calling mysteriously heard
orchestrated by the angels above
to join these two so they shall meet in passionate love....
and just as they met suddenly,
they too shall depart to walk on their paths
yet, renewed in their hearts
wondering what had occurred
and what does it mean?
as they strove to keep and protect that flame in their hearts
and wondered... was it a dream?
